SDRAM is added a new function named pipelining on the previous technology. SDARAM is capable to receive more than one command in every single time. Previously, the chips have to process one command by one command. With SDRAM, the speed of data transfer is dramatically increased at that time. The standard data transfer rates of SDRAM are 66MHz, 100MHz and 133MHz.
