Double Data Rate 2 (DDR2) improves the design with an increase in Data Width which allows more data to be transferred in a single time comparing to DDR. The operating voltage is also decrease from 2.5V to 1.8V. Lower voltage usage reduces the power consumption and heat generation, so, higher capacities are accomplished with denser configuration design. PACCOM DDR2 data transfer rate are 400MHz, 533MHz, 667MHz and 800MHz.
